The wilted flowers are symbolic? And Christel, are you making up words? :0) My dictionary doesn't cover "Impermanence". Whatever! This photo has a lot of feeling and a story. And I agree, it would be my first choice too. 8.5

I'm going to steal Doug Dance's critique (from PC) and suggest cropping from the right and only show a portion of the flowers in order to imply sadness (and not force it). Excellent shot as is though. (8.75)

Sorry, but this one doesn't work for me... she looks bored, giving this shot a contrived air about it that doesn't work.

Sorry this one doesn't do a thing for me. I agree with Gary. The flowers and the girl are competing for attention here and I'm afraid with the girls expression the flowers win out. The background behind the girl is also distracting. *6.75*

I think she's sad and not bored, but I do think a little less of the flowers would be better so the attention would be more on the girl. (7.75)

Like I said at the other site - I really like this - I feel emotion from her and I like that. I hope you do more of these Christel.

Well it works for me. Whether she's bored or sad she holds my attention as does the photo with it's simple compositional style. Good job. (8)
