Top 10 Recommendation
Egbert M. Reinhold (www.allmondo.com ) (3/1/2010 6:33:32 AM) This is one of the best photos I have seen so far from Venice. Love everything but most the light left and the refelction on the water.
Lorraine54 (Don't worry be Happy and comment more) (3/1/2010 7:25:14 AM) I remember.. loved it.. Well composed image with beautiful light and water reflections, love the little bridge. But to me it could use a slight ccw rotation..
bert(3/1/2010 7:45:27 AM) a beautiful post, lovely colours and fine darker areas, maybe a slight ccw rotation as Lorraine suggests but quite ok as it stands, regards bert
Sergei Samus (Serega to friends) (3/1/2010 8:48:44 AM) #1 Egbert M. Reinhold(You can`t survive life): #2 Lorraine54(cest la vie !!!! ): #3 bert: Thank you for your encouraging feedback. On ccw rotation I guess you are right. Will fix this tonight when I am back from work.
Hazel4(3/1/2010 9:02:22 AM) Fine shot of the canals. I've never been to Venice but looks to be a fascinating place. Lovely light & reflections!
herman blockx(3/1/2010 10:42:58 AM) the mood of this shot is really great ! superb light ,
Ray Griffiths ( ) (3/1/2010 11:19:18 AM) Slight rotation, as suggested, also a crop to remove the pipe from next to the doorway. suggested crop >>
Sergei Samus (Serega to friends) (3/1/2010 11:44:07 AM) #5 Hazel4: #6 herman blockx: Thank you
Sergei Samus (Serega to friends) (3/1/2010 11:45:12 AM) #7 Ray Griffiths(Make friends of your anenomies): Thanks Ray, i agree with rotation (will put it in later) however the crop is too tight on the left to my liking and I'd prefer having the brick wall in even if I have the pipe there ;)
Arno Hollander (Sniper 1) (3/1/2010 11:50:27 AM) Good shot, agree about the rotation but instead of rotation I'd skew it into perspective. for those who don't know where to find it. First doubleclick background in layer palette so backround changes into layer 0. After that go to edit, transform, skew.
joe bellantoni(3/1/2010 11:59:30 AM) wonderful light...looks a little cocked but slightly I think
Sergei Samus (Serega to friends) (3/1/2010 12:09:29 PM) #10 Arno Hollander(Sniper 1): yes, skewing is in most cases the way to go #11 joe bellantoni: most buildings in Venice are naturally cocked that's true ;)
Sreten(3/1/2010 12:53:35 PM) Your Venice series is very nice, Sergei. Good composition and great light.
Mark Polis(3/1/2010 1:36:32 PM) You did a very beautiful job with this Venezia series, Sergei. Every one has been a treat - this one's got charm and a quiet evening ambience. Great comp and superb handling.
Christopher Azzopardi(3/1/2010 3:07:33 PM) Great shot!
CherylB (I only lie when I do not like your pic) (3/1/2010 3:50:06 PM) thanks for showing us the back door or maybe it's the front door depending on your mode of transportation..nice golden colors..I like your thumb too. is this what our new stream will look like?
Zenonas(3/1/2010 5:30:46 PM) Fairy-tale light!
Jeff Brown UK(3/1/2010 5:52:44 PM) Another wonderful picture of venice, the light is amazing.
warren3 (warren blanton) (3/1/2010 7:12:33 PM) Great series Sergei...I'm enjoying all of your Venice images!
LindaY (Linda Y) (3/1/2010 8:35:14 PM) Very nicely done evening shot. This time of the evening when there is still a bit of light and color in the sky is a favorite of mine. I love the reflected light and warm colors. This one has a very romantic feeling to it.
MJFerron(3/1/2010 9:32:37 PM) Nice color, nice glow. Good find.
Stefan Babel(3/2/2010 6:00:10 AM) Wonder if this is single shot or mix of exposure 'cause I like the balance between light and dark - well done!
Sergei Samus (Serega to friends) (3/2/2010 6:19:38 AM) #23 Stefan Babel: Stefan, it's a single one. Would be impossible to do several exposures anyway as I didn't have a tripod that evening
Stefan Babel(3/2/2010 7:44:44 AM) #24 Sergei Samus(Serega to friends): In that case - double well done! ;-)
