I like it "bloody" and yellow colors combination.
Very nice macro shot!

I like the central part of this image very much. I perhaps would crop to focus more on this area - the borders I find a little distracting.
4 Christopher Azzopardi   (8/6/2012 7:11:52 AM)
Great macro. Like Ceri I really like the central part.
5 Sreten   (8/6/2012 7:23:03 AM)
Colorful and interesting with focus on the central part.I like these pearl shaped parts of this nice flower.

to be honest I'm not sure where the focus is here...for me it's almost in focus in several places and I'm not sure where to look. those round clusters look pretty cool, what are they?

Beautiful

Lovely deep and rich colours and a fascinating plant indeed - looks positively 'carnivorous' lol! Excellent macro Mark - is this one of your new fangled 'focus stack' shots?

I like the colors here but I have to agree with Cheryl, I there is just a little to much OOF stuff here for me, I bet you knew some would love it or not.

#6 CherylB(Take me or leave me u'll never change me): They're pollen granules exposed after the anthers split open.
#7 Ray Griffiths(Gold, Gold, Gold, Gold):
#8 Geordie(Dean Wilson): No, Dean - a focus stack would eliminate most out of focus areas at these high magnifications.
#9 Amaher(Amaher Amaher):
#10 Tim Pereira(Sheriff Buford T Justice): I certainly did, Tim.

Thanks for your input, everyone.

The colors are really great. This could be a nice stacking project.
