I like the alternative - it gives an added textural interest. Nice work. Also would agree with adding a sligh more brightness/contrast.

This one really impressed me. The form, the composition, the light/shadow, the crispness. Really clever and well done, too.
I, too, would have made it brighter as 'thirdeye' suggests.

Great job, Zhino. I really like it.
