I know what you mean. I can almost always pick both the 5D and the 5D Mk II by the sound of the shutter too. For some reason, they have a very distinctive sound. Hope that Santa or your hubby are good to you and bring you one this year. ;)

sure is almost like my hd tv...it really sings . The only complait I have is that you need a dk gray mat to show the great comp this image has. with all black it just gets lost in all black bg

I love the protea's, lots of detail .. and they are great to buy for photographing as they stay unflawed for a long time. Beautifully captured.

Lorraine, I agree with you that protea's are a great buy for photography. The different species of them have so many different colors and exotic shapes as well as long lives.
