#6 joe bellantoni: I guess you do not mind this person voting 7.7 for everyone and making no comments. What gives there?

This is image is striking. Fantastic composition! I have looked at your other images posted here. I would say you are the most talented photographer posting on this site.
13 CherylB (Take me or leave me u'll never change me)   (6/22/2011 9:50:01 AM)
#12 Michael Eckstein: I would disagree, there are many talented creative artists who post here. technically this is perfect..but not really my cup of tea when it comes to "creative art"
14 joe bellantoni   (6/22/2011 10:41:24 AM)
#9 Tim Pereira( ): You are right he also has a cat that got his tongue....thanks for pointing that out....but M should know better as to his # of images he has posted here.

Victor...how about telling others how their images look?
17 Michael Eckstein   (6/22/2011 11:57:23 AM)
#13 CherylB(Cheryl B):

I agree with your right to disagree. The posing and the color choice of background and dress combined with the pale skin of the model and her dark hair are all perfectly positioned in this image, in my mind that make this a true work of art.
18 Martynas (www.martynas.org )   (6/22/2011 12:20:59 PM)
#14 joe bellantoni: first of all dude bro you need to mind your own business and stop telling me what I have to do - I find it very annoying. Secondly while your expertise and skills might impress amateurs here, who are still struggling getting a sharp image and learning basic skills it does not impress me. Is sad to see that photographer with guru status considers flat lighten and PS blurred to soap image to be top of the line. You should know better and show better example for others.

It is sorry me, that this image gave an occasion vexed.
Exist enormous great number of creative photographers. Considerably anymore thankful, indifferent, angry audience-photographers.
Good pictures do a spectator "richer" and it is good.
20 joe bellantoni   (6/22/2011 1:37:43 PM)
#18 Martynas: I was just wondering why no comments from you. On another note I was a professional with National (us) package design so I think after working with some of the best art directors in the business I know what is good and what is not.
I have a free voice here as far as I know....unless I use some vulgar words which I see no use for.
21 joe bellantoni   (6/22/2011 1:40:25 PM)
#18 Martynas: BTW are you saying that Victor's image is flat or do I have it wrong?
22 Martynas (www.martynas.org )   (6/22/2011 2:24:26 PM)
#20 joe bellantoni: what a boastful talk! :) So I can tell you one thing - the image you rated lowest yesterday and talked something about blacks is hanging in living room of New York apartment (together with my other B&W landscapes) belonging to Jon Oringer (you can google him). This dude for sure knows where he invest his money and your art directors are working for him ;) So please, just stick to your own comments, comment images (I don't mind you voting or commenting mine however you want), but don't tell me what I need to do or to say. Because is simply not your business why I don't comment!;)

Excellent portrait, masterly done!
24 joe bellantoni   (6/22/2011 3:17:30 PM)
#22 Martynas: So I guess I have to think you don't care about anyone else's images enough to tell them. Oringer has a nice royalty free site btw.
For the record I never told you you had to do anything.......was just wondering about your silence. I will leave it alone as I see you don't want to get into it.You must be very busy.

It is a very nice portrait and with excellent technicals ... but I see a pretty prominent halo along here that grabs my eye, which I feel needs fixing to present this at it's best.
26 mrgetz (Thinkyouneek )   (6/24/2011 4:18:45 PM)
I make one of my occasional visits and what do I see? People still worried about scores and Martynass still being an arrogant bitch.

I have pictures hanging on walls all over this planet (My adopted planet) and you probably couldn't find many of the owners by googling them and they probably don't know squat about art directors or wise art investments.

They just asked for it cause they liked it.

Oh, and scores are meaningless.

Now vote this as comment of the day, it's been a while.

This is a fine image. You may be the most professional here by your images posted, if not the most talented.

I know you guys miss me here, too bad this is so boring.

actually Martynas was minding his own business saying nothing until he responded to being harrassed about being silent...a catch 22 no?

It's not that he reacted, it's how.

As usual.

A simple and beautiful portrait. Love it.

Hi Victor,

Your work is inspiring, well beyond the top photos here. One lesson I learned at Photoblink is that comments and votes are meaningless. What counts is one's work, beyond what others might say.

I encourage you. You are very talented. Your skills are well beyond my own. I admire your work.

This photograph is absolutely world class, several steps above the top photo here. Do not be discouraged by the game played here. Continue your work, you have gifts that few of us will ever achieve.

Best regards,

Bill
