Works well for me, the dramatic tones with the acute perspective are a winning match.

IMO, the shadow adds to the dramatic appeal of this shot. The sky, of course, is the most dramatic element in this photo, but the silhouetted figures as well as the perspective add to it. I also like the very sharp details in the foreground stones.
