#12 Joao Pedro Silva:

The Canon 100-400mm F/4.5-5.5 L IS USM. A superb lens if you bolt it down. :-)

19 ckldybr (A perfect photo is just a click away)   (3/24/2004 9:46:03 PM)
Go to Bill's head Robin... surely you jest. LOL... A wonderful capture of such graceful creatures. Your head should be to big to go thru a doorway Bill. I know mine would if I'd taken it. Take care. Barb.

Bill ... In addition to all of the above ... I don't think anyone mentioned that all three eyes have the all important eye-gleam. :O) What else to say, when it's this good! :O)

#26 Ruud:

I'm watching a soap opra. He loved her, but now he loves her, and the one he loves now is jealous about the one he used to love, so he's dating his brother's former wife. That is, until he gets a real job working for his father's former wife. And, his designer jeans look real good along with the Rolex. BTW, this all takes place in Texas. :-)
28 Ruud (they just ain't worth it)     (3/25/2004 3:57:01 PM)
Sounds familiar, must be watching the same show :~p
Guinnestime for sure!!!

#30 Hazel:

I don't think it was the lens here Hazel, I think it was the light. Sometimes light does wonderful things. It has been my experience that fixed length telephoto lenses are better than zoom lenses for sharpness. I must admit however that my next purchase will be the Canon 28-300mm. This one lens would have covered 98% of my needs while on this trip. BTW, the best lens I ever used is the Nikon 300mm f/4. Now that's a lens!
33 Louison   (3/26/2004 8:37:51 AM)
Life is so much simpler, more beautiful and harder in the Serengeti than on TV, isn't it? Beautiful, sharp and quiet photo.
34 Amuletum ( )   (3/26/2004 9:45:02 AM)
This is really good, Bill.
